Lifting Up Our Hearts
We worship on Sunday morning at 10:00. Our style is "warmly liturgical." That means that we follow the same general pattern each week, but there is always room for spontaneity, laughter, sorrow, and the whole range of what it means to be authentic people in the presence of God.
Pastor Janssen always offers Biblical insights to us that have direct relevance to our everyday lives. Our choirs and handbell ringers lift our hearts in praise by providing excellent quality music in a variety of genres, from classical to contemporary.
We offer the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of each month, and on several other occasions during the church year. All are invited to participate in the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper.
We welcome young families to worship with us! We have a well-equipped and staffed nursery, if you are worried that your little one is getting a bit too squirmy for your comfort.
Our services are always wide-open to anyone. On Reformation Sunday (last Sunday in October), at Christmas, on Easter, and on Pentecost, we have special services called "Holy Hallelujah" Sundays. These are all-out joyful celebrations of God's grace and love, complete with guest musicians. These are highlights of our year, and may be the best times to see us when our joy is overflowing.
