Dinner Club

Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. meet at Savor Restaurant (18 W. Main St., Somerville)

Somerville is full of wonderful restaurants, so our Social Activities Committee has introduced a Dinner Club to experience the best our town has to offer. The club meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at a local restaurant.   Everyone will be responsible for their own meal, tax and gratuity.


High School Holiday Choral Concert

Friday, December 14, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Sponsored and organized by the Somerville High School Music Department, area high school choirs gather to sing music of the season in United's sanctuary.  Admission is free, seating may be limited to the balcony.


Raritan Ringers Holiday Handbell Concert

Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary

The Raritan Ringers, a community handbell choir of advanced ringers sponsored by United Reformed Church offers a holiday handbell concert with traditional and secular favorites.  General admission $10 at the door. 


Christmas Eve Services

Monday, December 24, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

8:00 p.m.:  Our traditional Christmas Eve service will include carols for singing, an inspirational message and candle-lighting, "Silent Night" and "Joy to the World".

11:00 p.m.:  A late-night meditative service culminating in a gathering around the Lord's Table. We will sing traditional carols to lift our hearts to God, as we welcome the Christ child. 


SHIP's Holiday Meal Program - Christmas Dinner

Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall

Anyone in need of a FREE, traditional holiday meal is welcome to SHIP's Christmas Dinner, which is served on Christmas Day in Fellowship Hall.  Meals are also available to go.  For more information about this program, please call the Samaritan Homeless Interim Program at:  (908) 393-9545. 


Central Jersey Twelfth Night Boar's Head Festival
